Which Group are You?

Since long ago that human live in a group. Human couldn’t live without the other. As the saying goes, human is social creatures beside individual creatures. From this saying, even human is social creatures, human is also individual creatures that distinguish among others. Even as individual creatures, there is possibility that they have similar characteristics, appearance, and behavior among them even though it is not same. It depends from which point we group them. Talkative do less, talkative do more, talk less do less, and talk less do more are my friends in my class, based on their habits.

                “Talkative do less”. This point, people who are talkative people, but they do not do what they have said. These people sometimes just want to talk in order to get more attention with his or her interlocutor. Sometimes, in this group, people are supposed to have a great skill in communication. In addition, people who are belonging to this group are ironical people, people who do not do what she should do as they have been said. In other word the fact is not suitable with the discourse. These people have tight willing or bull-headed, puts back the people into his or her suggestion. Moreover, these people quite conceited, therefore they are trying to keep on their opinion.

                “Talkative do more” is the relative good group of people. This group is belonging to actionably competence (Celce-Muria, 1995), means that someone who has the ability to do what he or she has been said. This is a great group of people. They are quite ideal people to influence the other people. They have good strategic competence to ensure people to do what they have said. Moreover they do not just say what should do influencing people but they also do what they have been said that will be ensuring the other people to be influenced.

                The third group is those who are “talk less and do less”. This group consists of people who are quite “crazy” and stupid people. They have tendency low ability in speaking; moreover they do not have a willing to do something. People in this group are those who do not want to share something to each other and do not want to hear something from other neither instead of low ability.  In other word, this group is a group that is worse than “talkative do more” group. People in this group are those who do not have caring to the others even to themselves.

                The last group is “talk less do more”. The same with the saying often goes, this is favorite group. This group is consisting of stolid people. They have tendency not to talk too much. They do not show too many that they are capable people or simply they are not conceited people. People in this group usually do not have desire to share what they have got to the others, they will share to other if it is necessary. In addition they have low ability in speaking, but in fact they are diligent people. They prefer to be the doer to the speaker.

                From those explanations above, we can conclude that people are grouped based on their similarity of their habit. Talkative do less, talkative do more, talk less do less, and talk less do more, are the group in this passage based on their habit. They have distinctive characteristics, even they have some similarities. Therefore, as the saying goes “we cannot judge the book from its cover”.
